I decided for my big 4-0 that I wanted to get back into the conformation ring.  I was honored that Doug Plemel took a chance on a newbie and entrusted us with Desert Winds Imma Be Dutchess for Ohana Laki "Fergie".  Fergie is out of Desert Winds Sweet Soul Sister by Ch. Pearlisle Standing-O for Bix-L, SOM.  While Fergie is major pointed, the show ring was just not where she wanted to be.  We are hoping that she will bring us great success in the whelping box soon!

Our first boxer came into our home over 12 years ago.  Dawson stole my heart at 8 weeks old and forever instilled the love of this fabulous breed.  Although he was "just a pet", he  was all boxer in the ways that mattered.   Years later, my best friend, Lisa and I decided we would try and find a girl that we could get our feet wet in the conformation ring with.  Turns out, she was more suited for performance events.  Tess has shown us how truly brilliant this wonderful breed can be.  She has been a challenge in many ways, but with that, we have learned so much from her.
